The Cytotechnologist Award for Outstanding Achievement, established in 1969, is presented annually to a Cytotechnologist member in recognition of meritorious service or accomplishment in the field of Cytopathology.
The recipient of this award receives a certificate, $1,500.00 and travel expenses to attend the Annual Scientific Meeting of the American Society of Cytopathology.
The sponsor’s statement should enhance the nominee’s curriculum vitae (CV) and should be no more than one page, if supplied.
All eligible nominations and CV’s are kept on file for three years.
The ASC Awards Committee, chaired by Dina R. Mody, MD will review all eligible nominations and will recommend two individuals for final selection by the ASC Executive Board.
Nominations for The Cytotechnologist’ Award for Outstanding Achievement are being accepted until March 18, 2016.
