The Excellence in Education Award is presented to a cytotechnologist or pathologist member in recognition of meritorious service or accomplishment in the field of Cytopathology or Cytotechnology education.
Outstanding service or contributions at the national level; active involvement in primary education; and major program accomplishments are examples of accomplishments worthy of recognition.
This award consists of a certificate and $1,500.00.
The sponsor’s statement should enhance the nominee’s curriculum vitae (CV) and should be no more than one page. Please upload both items when completing the nomination form.
All eligible nominations and CV’s are kept on file for three years.
The ASC Awards Committee, chaired by Dina R. Mody, MD, will review all eligible nominations and will recommend two individuals for final selection by the ASC Executive Board.
Nominations for the Excellence in Education Award are being accepted until March 18, 2016.
