Our recent survey asked members to provide rankings on possible thematic priorities for the ASC. We’d appreciate your comments on the findings below. These will be considered in the Executive Board’s upcoming Strategic Planning Session at their spring meeting. Your input is greatly appreciated and very useful in ensuring the ASC meets your needs.
3) The following themes were ranked in the lower tier by our members. Please provide your comments on why these should be prioritized at this level, and how you think the ASC can address these.
a. Innovation and research to enhance practice through translational research and scientific discovery.
b. Culture of collaboration across disciplines, organizations, institutions, and with government and other agencies to meet the needs of patients and the profession.
c. Strategic use of technologies to enhance practice and education, and to support and communicate with members and stakeholders.
d. Social responsibility and cost-efficiency, equitable access and advancement of public health, locally and globally.
e. Sustainable resources and organizational structure that will optimally support the Society’s missions and programs.
