The Paris System for Reporting Urinary Cytology opened the Urinary Cytology Reproducibility Study Site. Officially, the “Paris Interobserver Reproducibility Study” or PIRST consists of 85 images and demographic questions. The Task Force invited the community to evaluate a series of images from the new Paris System for Reporting Urinary Cytology Atlas. The responses will be recorded for a study to be published in the Journal of the American Society of Cytopathology. Grouped results will be posted on the forthcoming Paris Web site for Reporting of Urinary Cytology to coincide with the publication of the new “Paris System for Reporting of Urinary Cytology” Atlas.
We are happy to report that the Book production is completed. It can now be ordered. Thanks to so many of you who participated in the development of the atlas and the interobserver reproducibility study. We hope the Atlas, TPS Web site and PIRST will prove useful to your practice of uninary cytology.
