2009-2010 PEC for Residents Dates:

Pre-Exam is open the 1^st - 5^th of every month
Post-Exam is open the 25^th - 30^th of every month

REGISTER FOR THE 2010-2011 SERIES 

2010-2011 PEC for Residents Dates:

Pre-Exam is open the 1^st - 7^th of every month
Post-Exam is open the 23^rd - 30^th of every month (February's Post-Exam will be open the 21^st - 28^th)

The Progressive Evaluation of Competency (PEC) for Cytopathology Residents Program offers two online exams over the residents' year that will track a resident’s baseline and final level of knowledge, and overall competency in cytopathology.  Topics covered will include:  gynecological, non-gynecological, FNA, ancillary, and laboratory operations.

The Program is available only to Program Directors who are current ASC members and who register all residents in the Program for a fee per resident.  Each exam is available for a specified period of time during which each registered resident must take the exam online. The results will be returned to the Program Director for review with each resident. General and comparative statistics will be generated with field validation of the questions occurring over time.
