Mentorship is important to the ASC. Every year through the ASC Foundation’s Make a Star of Your Mentor Program, our members fill the heavens with starred mentors who have contributed time and expertise to benefit others.

Make a Star of Your Mentor to show your gratitude through a gift of any size to the ASC Foundation. Your mentor will receive:

  • A personalized card to indicate that you have honored his/her contributions to your education.
  • Public recognition at the ASC Annual Scientific Meeting and in The ASC Bulletin.

Keep the star shining bright!

One can never say thank you too much or too often for the gift of mentorship. Say thank you and Make a Star of Your Mentor and encourage friends, colleagues and classmates to say thank you, too! Give your mentor a special place in our galaxy as a Shining Star, Gold Star, or Center of the Universe.

Shining Star
A mentor honored in two or more consecutive years.

Gold Star
A mentor honored by five or more mentees.

Center of the Universe
A mentor honored with donations totaling $1,000 or more.

Thank your mentor. Support the ASC.

Make a Star of Your Mentor proceeds benefit the ASC’s programs in education, research and advocacy. You can allocate your contribution to the following areas:
